As many 15/Love fans know, Max Walker and Laurence Lebeouf dated for a period while filming the show. However, on August 7th, 2006, in response to a topic started by fans, Max said:
Laurence is a gem to me. She's the girl of my dreams and always will be. We met before the first season and started dating around the time of "Midnight Snack Club." I won't say anything more than that because intimate moments are moments but that's when we started seeing each other.
I always believed that love finds you and when I first met Laurence something turned in my stomach... there was something different about her... something that caught my eye... we hit it off from the start.
I'm going to come out and make it clear right now, Laurence and I, officially, have broken up. We both mean so much to each but right now it wasn't meant to be. Does this mean we'll never get back together? I don't know. Life changes so fast I really couldn't say. It's all about living in the present moment and just enjoying what you got.
Though he defines his status as single, he has mentioned many times that he and Laurence are "on and off".

+When asked if their kiss in Memphre Blues (1x06) was their first. Max responded: No. That wasn't the first time I had kissed Laurence.

come molti dei fan di 15/love sanno, max e laurence sono stati assieme (nel senso che sono usciti assieme) per un periodo, durante le riprese del telefilm.
comunque il 7 agosto 2006, in risposta ad un topic aperto da una fan, max ha detto:
lau è una gem(non so che vuol dire, sto traducendo senza vocabolario, domani lo trovo e ve lo dico). è la donna dei miei sogni e lo sarà per sempre. ci siamo incontrato nella prima stagione e abbiamo iniziato ad uscire nel periodo di "midnight snack club" (un episodio). non vi dirò di più, perchè i momenti intimi sono momenti(questa non l'ho capita) ma è stato allora che abbiamo iniziato a vederci.
ho sempre creduto che l quando ho incontrato lau per la prima volta, qualcosa si è mosso nel mio stomaco... c'era qualcosa di differente in lei...qualcosache ha preso i miei occhi...ci siamo colpiti da subito.
lo dirò ora e lo chiarirò come si deve, lau e io abbiamo, ufficialmente, rotto. ognuno di noi significa molto per l'altro, ma ora non è destino. questo vuol dire che non torneremo più assieme? non lo so. la vita cambia così in fretta che non posso dirlo. è tutto nel vivere il presente e prendere il massimo da quello che hai.
